Expressive Zebras in Watercolor
Transform flat, timid washes into glowing, dynamic compositions with meaning.
Meet your instructor
Hi, I’m Valerie Englehart, a professional watercolor artist known for bold color, rich texture, and expressive storytelling through atmospheric painting techniques. With signature status in the Northwest Watercolor Society and years of experience, I help artists move beyond fear and into confident, joyful painting. I believe animals offer a powerful narrative for composition, emotion, and movement—and I love guiding students to bring that story to life with every brushstroke. If you're ready to loosen up, trust your colors, and create striking, meaningful work, you're in the right place.
