Welcome to the Materials portion of the class. I'm here to guide you through the essentials you'll need to succeed in this class. We'll cover the recommended 9x12 inch, 140-pound cold press watercolor paper, my preference for painting on blocks, the two key brushes (a size 8 round and a size 1 script liner from the Silver, Black Velvet brand), and why I recommend artist-grade tube paints, particularly Daniel Smith. I'll also provide alternative suggestions for brands you can use if you don't have the exact materials. Download the complete list of supplies above, and join me in the next video where we'll test some of these colors.
